Volunteer at our Tacoma food bank

Support your community

People from all walks of life have been supporting our work over the last two decades. Volunteers report satisfaction in giving back, gratitude for the support they receive in return, the camaraderie of a great volunteer team, and improved work and leadership skills.

How it works

Most of our volunteers serve on Saturdays helping to sort food and fill boxes for our drive-through food bank and distribution to other organizations. Shifts of different lengths are available and can be adapted to your physical capabilities. We also welcome Friday shifts, holiday meal box prep, groups, administrative duties, and community service hours.

Please call us at 253-677-7740 if you’d like to volunteer.
